Learn the essence of planetary combinations.
The Varga Charts (or divisional charts) explain the real reasons why our life unfolds the way it does, in certain areas and at certain times. It shows specifically how each area of our life will be affected in regards to the changing Dashas or time cycles.
This is why you can go into a bad period as indicated by the birth chart, say a debilitated Mercury cycle, yet many areas of your life thrive. This is because Mercury is not debilitated in all of the 15 other important divisional charts. In some, he may even be exalted. Each of the vargas represents a particular area of life.
Similarly, if an extremely good period is predicted because you are in a cycle of an exalted Moon in the birth chart, yet certain areas of your life fail, it is due to the varga placements of the Moon. In other vargas, like the Navamsha (committed relationship and purpose), the Dasamsa (career and status), or the Trimsamsha (the chart for health tendencies) the Moon may be under serious stress. When this occurs, those parts of the life will have strain during the particular dasha.
To appreciate all of these possibilities we at least need to know how to assess the vargas on a basic level. The goal of this class is to gain an understanding of each house in relation to the chart of career and status (the Dasamsha), and also the chart of committed relationships and dharma (the Navamsha). We will also explore the role of each planet as it functions within these divisional charts. This will give us a good foundation for properly assessing the areas of status and purpose within the horoscope and how those can play out over time.
This 5 week Tele-class will begin building your foundation for understanding the Vargas. We will focus primarily on the Navamsha and Dasamsha. We will also touch upon the influence of the Lajjitaadi Avashtas within the vargas. (If you missed the Lajjitaadi Class, it will be available as an MP3 download by April 9th, 2013. Each class will be 1.5-2 hours. Students charts will be used to explore and as examples as time allows.
All classes will be recorded. If you have to miss a class, it will be available to students as a recording. Participation is encouraged to answer your timely questions.
Would you like to join me on this exploration? We will use your charts to explore, that way you get direct insight into your own horoscope from this class. This will be a class done over the phone. Appropriate material will be emailed to you before the class begins.
It will also be available as a Skype group call to the first 8 people who register. Make sure your Skype service and internet connection supports video, as I will be able to share my screen as we go through the class.
• This is a 5 week class.
• Dates are April 14th, 21st, 28th and May 5th and 12th.
• Time will be 10-11:30 AM Eastern Time Zone.
• (NOTE!: I lead a meditation group the first Sunday of every month at 9 AM. On May 5th, the session will be 11-12:30 PM.)
• All classes will be recorded and available as an MP3 Download. If you can’t call in, you won’t miss a class because you can listen to it later as an MP3.
• Class fee is $65.00. However, this is such a fascinating topic and I want to make it available to everyone, so if you can’t afford $65.00, just tell me what you can and that will be the cost for you.
