At the end of the Asheville Vedic Astrology Apprenticeship Program, students must complete three 10,000 word papers, 3 one-hour long videos, and 42 donation based sessions. The donation based sessions require participants and the student astrologer to fill out feedback forms, which are reviewed by the students mentor.

“My name is Marcel Xampeny Altès and I am dedicated to Jyotish (Vedic or Hindu Astrology). I began my studies five years ago in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India. Since then, it has been my life purpose. Noteworthy is the training with Ryan Kurczak of the Asheville Vedic Astrology Apprenticeship Program. I have also trained for three years in Gestalt Therapy at the Gestalt School of Catalonia with the aim of initiating a personal therapeutic process and having more tools for the accompaniment I offer through Jyotish.
At the moment, I am at the end of the Apprenticeship Program at the Asheville School, in which I will conduct 42 readings by donation for all those who wish to deepen their karmic map. Personally, I use the Sidereal system to interpret the birth chart.
How will the reading be interpreted?
I will make a study of the most prominent aspects of the Jataka or birth chart (D-1). The intention is to work with the grahas (planets) and bhavas (houses or areas of life) where there is greater difficulty and imbalance or”doshas” (afflictions). I mainly focus on those areas where there is “tamas” energy and, therefore, we suffer from lack of vidya (knowledge) and “light”; the objective is to focus on everything that we need help with from a young age. Identifying also the reason for our reincarnation and what are those aspects that are going to be manifested internally and externally during this life.
At the end of the reading, personalized remedies will be applied to focus on areas where we are ignorant and where we have more planetary obstruction. We shall also comment some of your potentialities and talents within your chart.
The session will be realized via Zoom for 45 minutes/1 hour. The price is by donation.
